i think i have issues.

i need to deal with the Lord, first and foremost, on my own.

"The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace,
Because he trusts in You.
Trust in the LORD forever,
For in GOD the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock.
-Isaiah 26:3-4

stead·fast
(stdfst, -fst)
adj.
Fixed or unchanging; steady.
Firmly loyal or constant; unswerving. See Synonyms at faithful.

...sometimes i think of the issues that i struggle with, and then i'm like "what the heck, this is SOOO stupid"
why do i worry about STUPID things that don't even MATTER?

"Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ." - Galatians 1:10

"i need to deal with the Lord, first and foremost, on my own." truesday gen!

reminds me of this verse i've been thinkin' about lately: "Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?" {ROM. 6:16}
