I was suppose to study for the whole day today..but instead i spent the whole day with my brothers. I love my brothers because it's just so fun to be with them, i love them so much. It's sad that we've all been busy to spend more time with each other. It's really the small things we do that makes everything worthwhile..like all we did today was..eat. and shop for books. I feel so much closer to them already. What scares me is thinking about a few years later...when all of us will have our "loved ones"..genuine will be married by then (oh God bless me i hope i find one too) and all of us will go our separate ways and have our own families. What will happen?! Will we still get to go "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and pinch each other's asses?
Genuine was just talking about how he had this sharing at his church, and some of the parents shared about what they want from their children (expectations). The pastor talked about how he didn't really want much but just little things. His sons are growing up and they don't spend as much time at home as they use to. When they were younger the whole family ate together everynight and each child (they had 5) took turns to say grace. The pastor said he really missed those times..the little things like that. It really reminded me of how much i should spend more time at home with my parents too, i kind of miss those "whole family dinners" that we use to have every night...and just the thought of starting a new family and leaving my parents, my brothers...oh boy it kind of hurts. and it sucks. *ouch* :*(
i love my family because... we hug and we kiss each other ALL the time..we say "i love you" more than 5 times everyday to each other...we are not afraid to be affectionate with each other...we make the lamest jokes on earth..we laugh at the same things...we fight but we never hold grudges longer than 1 hour... we are honest with each other... we love to eat... we love spending money on each other and buying each other stuff... we love taking weird pictures... we can talk about anything...we love each other :) etc etc. it's so much more than that. God has blessed me with such an amazzzing family.
Although we do have arguments and disagreements..who doesn't? This is what makes it all the better..or else a family without all the dynamics..would be..boring and..no growth ('haha' at the poor grammar)
*sigh* i am SOO thankful for such a great family
