i got a job at Jacob (NOT connexion or kids...). Yesterday was my 2nd shift, it was fun because i got to meet a lot of people and give them "suggestions" (although...i'm pretty sure my suggestions were pretty crappy hehe)
So the first thing i'm suppose to do when a customer walks in is to act FRIENDLY. When a customer walks in, and i should SMILE and ask them how they are.
Funniest conversation:
me: "hi how are you doing today?"
customer: "good good, you?"
me: "good. goood..."
customer: "good"
......awkward silence...and i slowly turn around and walk away and laugh a little to myself
in a span on 3 seconds we managed to exchange ten thousand "good's"
p.s. another word that bugs me a lot..and makes me cringe is the word "ROBUST"
it sounds so..weird. in archaeology class when we were learning about primates, i always remember the Australopithicus ROBUSTus. R-O-B-U-S-T. so weird.
