3 totally unrelated topics

sometimes i feel like a two face
i am SO outgoing and "WEEEEE" with friends..
but when i'm class, i'm so NOT weee...
I'm a totally different person, i'm super duper quiet and afraid to take the initiative to talk. I just sit in class like a teddy bear and listen and not make friends.
I want to make some white friends, and i also want to make some anthropology friends because it's good to get to know people and "expand my horizon".

my parents just came back from hong kong and we had dinner tonight. they invited a few of their friends to eat with us, whenever these occasions happen, gencan and i talk incessantly and laugh our heads off...while our parents have their own conversations...
So we were eavesdropping on this uncle who was talking about how his daughter dated a guy for 7 years but dumped him because he tried to become a CA but after 5 years he still couldn't pass (she dumped him for a phD guy). I was like "whoa..that sucks" and we just discussed about how people could go out for 7 years and make no progress..as in..they're not engaged or married but still ...just dating
just then, mom was asking around if we wanted crab
mom: "do you guys want crab?"
...gencan and I both said no, then we continue our small talks...
me: "i want the meat but i hate how i have to go through that whole process, so i'm not going to have it" (commenting on the crab and how it was so tedious to bite off the shell and stuff)
gencan: "so you want to meet someone? you're desperate now?"
me: "no, i just said...wait...what are you talking about?"
gencan: "so..you said you wanted to meet someone but dont want to go through the whole process of like 7 years of dating"
me: "NOOOOOOOOOOO i was talking about the crab...MEAT"
...then we looked at each other...
gencan and i: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA"
gencan: "are you going to put that on your blog now?"
me: "yes"
gencan and i: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA"


yo this is the ugliest thing i've EVER seen.
