apparently today was going to be SUPER cold. b told me last night that if you stood outside for more than 15 minutes, you’d freeze..literally.

hahaha. I was imagining myself trapped inside an ice cube, like the cartoons. *ge ge ge ge* (a "very cold" expression)

but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was so prepared to wear double layer of EVERYTHING. I wore two pairs of pants and an extra thick sweatshirt. I was going to wear double hat too. So before I went to bed, I tried it and looked at myself in the mirror, I thought to myself, “darn my head is already big enough, wearing TWO hats is just going to make me look like an normal looking asian girl with an abnormally gigantic head walking around downtown U of T.” So I chucked the inner hat and decided to just bring one to school…ah, however, I ended up not wearing it at all. So, cheers for myself for withstanding “extreme” coldness without even ONE hat! =) (okay shut up gendi)

I’ve been doing a lot of studying lately…going to tim horton’s every night for at least 3 hours. So I’ve been soaking in a lot of knowledge (haha..SURE), and also observing a lot in the store. I noticed: (for convenient’s sake, TH= Tim Horton’s)

-The TH I go to is probably…:

1. the busiest TH on earth (No matter WHAT time I go, that place is packed)
2. the Chinese-est TH on earth (the whole place packed with middle-aged Chinese people talking like it’s a “yum cha” restaurant..it’s SOO loud)
3. the cleanest TH on earth (actually..just the cleanest one I’ve been to) There’s this old man called “sam” (no I don’t stalk him, he just has a name tag on his shirt). When I see him, I just want to write a thank you card for him because I sit there for hours and all I see him do is clean and clean and clean (and clean)..(and..clean some more). That place is just SPOTLESS!
4. nobody ever follows the “20 minutes max loitering” rule (yeah...nobody does)

omg i have a big test tml, i think i'm going to faint anytime soon if i don't take deep breaths

p.s. congratuations to abby for being "almost canadian"..."almost" because she said she's just a citizen but she's still chinese. what a lame thing to say. but okay you can say "I AM CANADIAN" and drink the beer "proudly" now. hahaha.
