bach

I went to a bach concert last night..it was for my music assignment, so cool how i could attend concerts for a class!
Anyway, the concert name was "Bach birthday bash wine and cheese" hahaha because apparently, March 21st is bach's birthday, and he would be 254 years old this year.
So basically yetserday was a birthday party for bach, without bach! It was really good, the performer was this Russian lady who's world renown and she was SOOOOOOOOO GOOD i couldn't stop staring at her fingers moving around the neck of that viola...it was so fast i cant' even do it in the air. Her playing was so intense, i was like shaking my head with the beats. haha.
What's interesting, was afterwards, we had cheese, and wine (hence the name of the concert), but everybody there knew each other, it was a very small and intimate kind of concert... So i grabbed some crackers, some really goooood cheese, some of those liver patties, strawberries and grapes, and just left. HAHA, i got so much, and i enjoyed them in the subway on the way home.
Everybody who was at the concert were white, they were so like..."high class", i felt kind of under dressed b/c i only wore jeans there. Yah all of them you know, ate cheese and crackers like they always had them for leisure, eating cheese and crackers are sort of for "sophisticated" people who would get together for "a cup of tea"....SO funny.

i am SOOOO going to go to bach's 255 birthday bash wine and cheese next year.
