My first term is almost over.
I can't believe how the second half is just speeding along, next thing i know i'll be done.

I also cant' believe how blessed I am.
My class is really amazing. I get along with everybody and it's really rare that I could be so outgoing and friendly with everybody ( i'm typically very shy in a classroom setting ).
Everyday I look forward to classes and look forward to laughing and joking with my classmates. Albeit sometimes I don't get their jokes, or i can't hear them (due to my crappy ears), but i still laugh along. HAHAHAHA. Pretending that I TOTALLY get it. hahaha.

A friend I met here is Aimee, I met her on the first day. She is a red head, a bit taller than me, freckles on her face, soo pretty, super gorgeous wavy locks which smells coconut-y all the time. We got along since the first day, during breaks we'd walk to china town or just hang out to eat and talk and laugh. I want to record this so i won't forget. At first I felt a bit awkward because she'd call me about random things, but eventually we started to really bond and the more I got to know her, the more I realized how blessed I am to meet such a wonderful person. Aimee is very nice- she laughs at your jokes and appreciates your humor (especially mine HAHAA). She talks about her life all the time (she's very open), she listens attentively to what you have to say, and she also really cares for her friends. We also share the same kind of humor, so during class we'd laugh at the same things or glance at each other when we know something funny is happening. Oh yes, i forgot to mention, she LOVES cats and dogs. She owns one of each. I LOVE cats and dogs (esp cute dogs), so we always gush about cute pets when we walk past any.
We even poo-ed together. now THAT's a poop-tide bond. (HA! HA!)

Want to see a picture of aimee? -->
this picture was taken after our last ever class :(

It is unfortunate that she had to leave to go back to Ottawa midway, but I feel so extremely grateful to have met her even for this brief time. I still keep in contact with her and hopefully the little bit of "Jesus-like" trait that I have in me infected her in some way. I told her I'd pray for her when she was going through a rough patch.
i update her almost every other day on funny things that happen in school.

Funny things DO happen at school almost everyday, the stories are endless.
Gencan would sometimes stop by my room and go, "hey gaj, do you have any funny stories from George Brown?" hahaha he thinks it's like a soap opera, it's always so entertaining.

Since Aimee left, i withdrew a bit from my classmates, but I'm starting to readapt and I think they really like me. (not to boast or anything) We all help each other with work and we all really appreciate each other. At least I think so. Today during one of our classes we totally joked and had a good time. All boys, so fun. hahaha.

As I mentioned in a few posts back, I know the Lord led me here for a reason. One thing I need be mindful of us keeping a good witness and be a salt and light for him. I think I do portray myself as a goody-two-shoes, but it has to be more than a nerdy asian girl, i should aim to be a cool-edgy chick-a-dee-doodle who loves God and is changed by his grace.
(actually i'm cool and edgy already, so..just add the spiritual part. HA HA! HA!!!)
