i haven't updated my blog for a while..
i just thought i might just start again.

i just finished my exams! YAY! i am tres heureux! Speaking of how to say "happy" in french, i remember in gr.9 when i sat next to this girl with lots of air in her head. So one day during french class the teacher was reviewing some words we learned, teacher said, "joli". At that moment, the girl walked in class late, sat next to me and whispered, "what does 'joli' mean?" Since i didn't know what the word meant, i thought, hm it sounds like "jolly", so i just told her it meant "happy". The teacher saw her walk in late, so she walked up to her and asked, hi _______! tell me, how do you feel today? (in french obviousy), and then the girl was like, "je suis joli!" (Which meant i am pretty!) haha how vain, everybody in the class laughed. I felt bad. haha. She still had no clue that she said she was pretty instead of happy, and i was like, "why's everybody laughing?" because i still thought joli meant jolly/happy too.

I'm icing my lips right now, because a softball hit my lips. they said i looked like i had collagen in my lips or something, it's really swollen. When i got home, i told my dad my lips were swollen, he looked at me and just laughed. He didnt' say anything, he just laughed. hahaha. how mean. I guess it's really swollen.
i didn't have ice in my freezer, so i'm using a pack of frozen meat balls to ice my lips. hm. it's not as swollen anymore.
