Lately I feel like my life's been a big *whoosh* because i've been packed with all sorts of things to attend and do. Sometimes i wish i could just stay home and do nothing and have some peace and quiet time with God...but time just seems so limited with so many things i have to do.
Just the other day when i was in the car, i felt really frustrated because i just wanted to be STILL. Genuine was driving, and as he made turns, I noticed that when the car was turning, let's say to the right, my body would smoothly and most naturally sway to the opposite direction. It's almost like i was a seaweed, or a coral reef, it's very fluent and wave-like in which direction you would bend your upper body towards. It was funny to magnifiy such a small thing and make it the focus of my car ride. Besides feeling like some sea creatures, i also felt like fans at concerts moving their bodices rhythmically along with the slow tuneZ, left, right, left right (smoothly).
Again, back to the point. A lot of times we are really caught up with things we have to do, our obligations in the world. That is when we get really distracted and forget about all the important and small things that matter.
I am amazed at just how God works...how he puts in every little intricate details in his creation. In a manner of physics, there is no way our body would sway towards the turning direction. God created gravity and force to work that way because it's a way to prevent further danger, it's a defense mechanism. If genuine turned right and i swayed right, i would be SUPER right. But because i swayed the opposite direction, that was how i kept the balance and kept straight and firm.
It just made me realize hwo important it was to recognize how amazing creation is. how many things there are around me to be noticed and the praises that he's waiting for me to praise.
So many things in our lives we take for granted yet we fail to see it's splendour in it's creation....
Let's say you love picking your boogers...God made boogies too! It's a way our body gets rid of dirty stuff...isn't it cool? or else we would be filled with weird things...
God is soo cool, and i wish i spent more time thinking about all the wonderful things that he's done for me......

p.s. STAR WARS CONCERT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool! Now i want to become a star wars geek. i want to own light sabers and jedi robes and hum the star wars theme in the shower.
'Twas truly a fun night!

Gendi,

I agree with your last point.

And you make me laugh. I'm picturing seeweeds wavering back and forth in an underwater rock concert.

and isn't God faithful to you? all you wanted was a little quiet time to spend with the Lord so that He can speak to you....

...and because of His faithfulness, He did speak to you...even in the midst of this busy world. God is good. have fun at the trip. He will use you ...like I use you.. hahaha..j/k.

much love,
and many prayers,
Cora
